Brand Identity

Brands that people remember without trying.

A brand isn't a logo. It's the feeling people get when they encounter your company — in your product, on your website, in an email, on a business card. We create brand systems that feel cohesive across every touchpoint, so that feeling is always consistent, always intentional, and always distinctly yours.

How we approach brand design

We start by listening. What does your company actually stand for? Not the aspirational mission statement — the real thing. What makes you different from the 50 other companies doing something similar?

From there, we explore directions — usually three or four distinct concepts that each capture a different aspect of your identity. We refine the strongest direction together, pushing it until it's not just good but distinctive.

The goal is always the same: a visual identity that works just as well on a 16px favicon as it does on a billboard.

What a brand system includes

Logo and logomark — Multiple formats and configurations (horizontal, stacked, icon-only) that work across light and dark backgrounds, large and small sizes.

Color palette — Primary, secondary, and accent colors with accessible contrast ratios. We define colors for both light and dark contexts, with specific guidance for UI use.

Typography — Font selection and hierarchy for headings, body text, UI elements, and special use cases. We pair fonts that complement each other without competing.

Visual language — The broader visual system: iconography style, illustration approach, photography direction, texture and pattern usage. The details that make your brand feel like a system, not a collection of random decisions.

Brand guidelines — A practical document (not a 200-page PDF nobody reads) that gives your team clear guidance on how to use the brand consistently.

Built for the real world

We test every brand system against real-world scenarios: How does it look on a mobile screen? In a dark mode UI? On a white sticker? At 12px in a browser tab? In an email signature next to a wall of plain text?

A brand that only works in the designer's mockup isn't a brand — it's a decoration. We deliver systems that work everywhere your company shows up.
